Heartsaver Adult Only First Aid-CPR-AED | Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED is a classroom, video-based, Instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills needed to respond to and manage a first aid, choking or sudden cardiac arrest emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives. Heartsaver Adult &Pediatric First Aid-CPR-AED | The Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED Course is designed to meet the regulatory requirements for child care workers in all 50 United States. It teaches child care providers and others to respond to and manage illnesses and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. BLS Provider | The AHA’s new BLS Course has been updated to include science and education from the 2015 Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC. It teaches both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for application in both prehospital and in-facility environments, with a focus on high-quality CPR and team dynamics. In the Instructor-led course, students participate in simulated clinical scenarios and learning stations. Students work with an AHA BLS Instructor to complete BLS skills practice and skills testing. Students also complete a written exam. | $89 | |
Online/eLearning Part 2 Skills Practical/Testing Session | Heartsaver and BLS Provider courses are offered as a 2-part blended learning option. Part 1 is web-based and accessible 24 hours a day. Through case-based scenarios, interactive activities and videos, this course teaches the program concepts. Upon successful completion of Part 1, students receive a certificate that allows them entrance to a skills practice and testing session. For full course completion, Part 1 must be paired with a hands-on skills practice and testing session (Part 2) with an AHA BLS Instructor. Note: Fees for Part 1 and Part 2 are separate. Family & Friends CPR | AHA’s video-based, classroom Family & Friends® CPR Course teaches adult Hands-Only™ CPR, adult AED use, child CPR and AED use, and infant CPR.
